Trainbiodiverse Midterm review

Trainbiodiverse are pleased to announce that they will hold the midterm review this October in Munich.

The date has been set for 07 October 2013 and it will be held at Helmholtz Zentrum München. Environmental Genomics research unit Germany.

Trainbiodiverse ITN Summer School courses and Network meetings.

The dates for the Summer school and network meeting have been finalized. The events will be held at RIJKSUNIVERSITEIT GRONINGEN (RUG), The Netherlands in Groningen, hosted by the Microbial Ecology Department Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Studies in week 27 from the 1st to the 5th of July. Please keep these dates free in your calendar. The have been chosen to allow for attendance at both ISME and FEMS conferences.

A full agenda will be sent out to all when it has been finalized.

Trainbiodiverse January brainstorming meeting

A Brainstorming meeting is to be held in January 2013 in  the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus located near the summit of the Zugspitze mountain.

The meeting will span a 2 days providing opportunities brainstorming and introductory topic discussion meeting. Fellows will have the opportunity to present abstracts of their work and this will focus of the meeting on the scientific basis and possible synergies of the project.

Last chance in the current round of recruiting.

14 postdoctoral and Ph.D. positions now available throughout Europe

Today marks the first day of the main drive for recruitment of the Trainbiodiverse Consortium.

Currently there are 14 Postdoctoral or Ph.D. available in the Marie Curie FP7 funded International Training Network.

Trainbiodiverse Early stage researcher required for Ph.D. Stipendium

The Laboratory of Environmental Microbiology Institute of Microbiology AS CR, is seeking applicants for a early stage researcher position combined with a PhD study in the frames of the FP7-Initial Training Network Programme “Trainbiodiverse”.

The position is a three year fixed term starting in or after June, 2012. We offer interesting work in one of the best scientific institutions in the Czech Republic in the field of soil microbial ecology. The project will include research stays in the cooperating institutions of the project.
