Brief Biography: 

I have done my undergraduate in botany from University of Gujarat, Ahmadabad, India. (2002-2005). I have successfully completed two Masters Degrees with one from Gujarat University in botany (Plant physiology)(2005-2007) and a second Masters of Science from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, England, UK(2008-2010) in Molecular Cell Biology where I worked on “application of antimicrobial polyamides in medical devices”.  I have also worked on "Mitotic index for cells of onion root tips" and "Mutational effects on Kalanchoe daigramontiana" under guidance of Dr. Y. T. Jasrai. at Botany Department, Gujarat University, Gujarat, India (July 2007-June 2008) after my first Master.

Currently I am doing my PhD at University of Florence, Italy under guidance of Prof. Paolo Nannipieri. My research topic is “Microbial β-glucosidase encoding genes in soil: molecular diversity, proteomic characterization and enzymatic activity”.
